Adeline's Number Ring.
We try hard to expose Adeline to the same content that Lila is learning in kindergarten. Thank goodness she is a fast learner!
When Lila started her number ring, Adeline wanted one too. Moving the tiny flashcards around was very difficult and frustrating for my fine motor impaired girl. We put it away after she made it into the 20's club. Tonight we pulled it out after it sat idle in the drawer for months. Adeline could identify and order her numbers to 60. We stopped there. It's amazing how she just knows this stuff without practicing or academic exposure.
She rocks!

Lila's Word Ring
I have to take a moment and say how proud I am of Lila. She is working her way down the Dolch sight words with ease. These are words like for, the and was. Words that one has to just know because sounding them out doesn't work. Lila Grace is up to 60 words now. The goal is 123 by the end of the year. Considering she started in early December, I think she is on her way.
